The Turbnator has been a favorite of builders and pilots for a long time. It's a great flying sport jet that is now available in a new and updated ARF version. Now you can experience the great flying abilities of the Turbinator without having to spend months at the building table. The new design has a 2 piece wing that slides onto 2 carbon fiber rods and abutts the fuselage. The plug in wing design allows for the Boomerang 125oz Sullivan tank to sit neatly in the fuselage over the CG. This will allow for those longer flight times we all desire. The Horizontal Stab is removable for help in transporting. The nose of the fuse features a hatch that allows access to a battery compartment making access to the batteries a breeze. The construction is of laser cut light ply and balsa and is covered in a high quality iron on film. All push rods and hardware are included.
Coming Soon The Baby Turbinator is 20% smaller than the original Turbinator. With a 69 inch wingspan and 69 inch length it weighs in at 20lbs with full fuel and a 6KG turbine. This is a great little jet that is easy to transport and assemble and it won't break the bank. All wood construction with iron on covering it is easy to repair and maintain. Perfect for those days when you just want to go flying without the hassle of hauling a trailer. The flight performance is very spirited but will slow right down for landing. The Boomerang XL is the largest of the Boomerang line up and it draws its size and appearance from the very first Boomerang that Alan Cardash ever designed. Alan wanted a turbine airframe that could do more than just tear holes in the sky at blazing speeds. He wanted a true aerobatic performer. Originally called the “Big Boomer”, Alan had some very specific performance requirements for this airframe. First it had to have light wing loading so it could be a good aerobat. It had to have easy access to the fuselage for maintenance and assembly. It also needed to have a good presence in the air for those of us that don’t have the best eyesight anymore. With a 94” wingspan it is easy to see in the air, yet it breaks down remarkably small when it’s time to pack it up for the trip home. Just like all the Boomerangs do. The flight performance of the Boomerang XL is stunning. From very slow flight to lazy aerobatics and the occasional high speed pass, the XL is simply a joy to fly. Short fields are no problem with an XL (or any of the Boomerangs). Add a bit of crow to increase the wing loading and it will land on strips other jets wouldn’t dare to attempt. The XL is built with a combination of materials. The Fuselage and booms are composite while the center wing, outer wings and the tail plane are of wood construction. All wood components are fully sheeted and covered with genuine OraCover film. Designed to handle from 18-30lb thrust turbines the XL is a winner all around. Just ask the many pilots who fly them.
The Boomerang Elan quickly became a fan favorite. The Elan is a perfect fit for the 14 -22lb class of turbines. The Elan is built with a one piece composite fuselage and center wing section. The booms are also composite construction and the outer wings and tail plane are of fully sheeted wood construction. The wings and tail plane are covered in genuine OraCover film. Like all Boomerangs the Elan is a great short field performer that also has a wide performance envelope. It can do all the aerobatics you can throw at it and come back to land at a very slow speed. Like all boomerangs it breaks down easily and is easy to transport in smaller vehicles. Whether you are a beginner to turbines or a seasoned pro, the Elan is sure to thrill you.
